As far as my entrepreneurial experience goes, I’m not the most into getting my own ideas out there, but I do really like to help aid in the development of other people’s projects. For example, one of my older cousins currently works in the Walmart headquarters in Arkansas, and he’s currently trying to get into the home supply business with marketing new trash bags. His ideal market is college students, so he calls me often to ask for help or just to bounce around ideas.
I enrolled in this class as a requirement for my minor, but I also hope to gain a new understanding about how to see the world better through an entrepreneurial mindset. I’d also maybe like to learn more about what it takes to get a company up and running successfully. A member of my family is currently looking into taking over a donut shop in my hometown, so it would be cool to learn a little bit more about small businesses and how they fall under the entrepreneurship umbrella.
